Alright, second one is up. Probably also crap, but I’m hoping it’s a higher tier of crap. Might begin work on the third chapter tonight, but I’m done with writing for the next hour or so.
Writing things
I have almost four pages written in chapter 2 of Rhys’s origin story. I’ll probably close up the chapter soon and will either finish with Rhys at the end of chapter 3 or 4. I’m really hoping to keep this kind of momentum, but I do need a bit of a break. Off to minecraft!
Here’s a link to my first chapter. It’s short and quite heavy on dialog, and I’m not sure how much I like it. I’ve written a bit of the second chapter, but I’m going to save the link for that till it’s more done. Hopefully I will be able to finish it tomorrow, but I make no promises.
So, I think I’m going to change the purpose of my blog. Haven’t really wanted to post minecraft stuff, since that feels like effort. I think instead I will try to post some of my writing that I hope to do. Warning: it will be shit. My only goal so far is to be better than Twilight. Pretty sure I could just post sections of the dictionary to surpass that bar, so you know it’s not very high.
I think I’m going to start off with short stories for now, and if I feel any attachment to a character or group of characters, I may try to do a longer story. It will also likely be shit. Sorry in advance.
Two of my friends said that the 9th Doctor was ugly, horrible, and there was no point to him. They said that no one liked him and everyone who did is an idiot. I told them tons of people liked him and they didn’t believe me.

Awww I love Christopher Eccleston and he still lives not far from his home town. Great guy and he did a good job of the first doctor for 15 or so years.
I’ve been watching Doctor Who for the first time and am about halfway through the second Matt Smith season, and I can say without question that Nine is my favorite, hands down.

Yes, Ten may be my favourite - but I LOVED Nine.I may have technically started watching with Pertwee, but Eccleston is my Doctor. For the Doctor we needed to have after the Time War, he was perfect. He had chemistry, he had fire, and while I like Tennant well enough, I don’t think that “JUST THIS ONCE - EVERYBODY LIVES!” would have had the same heartbreaking weight if it’d been spoken by anyone but Eccleston. He’s my favourite. He’s my Doctor. End of.
Tennant is my Doctor. Eccleston is who grabbed my hand and said “run for your life!” I wouldn’t have loved Doctor Who if Eccleston hadn’t been first, and let me tell you, that love runs deep. Eccleston did such an amazing job, I wish things had been different and he’d had multiple seasons. Its a shame that people don’t love him for the ground breaking work he did for Tennant. The triumph in his voice when he shouts “just this once, everybody lives!” Makes me laugh out loud with the joy he portrays. His final words made me smile, even though I was crying. “You were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. And d’you know what? So was I.” How can you not love Nine?
